Dear Vera, I loved to see this album about the Christmas in Vienna. The all atmosphere is so magic, makes us return to our childhood. Although my parents were very modest people, they always tried to make Christmas a very special occasion. I love Weihnachten and nothing can beat the way Austrians & Germans celebrate it, although my last Christmas in Germany was in 1953 and I would be celebrating my 5th birthday in less than a month in Canada. Hello Vera. What a wonderful albom and most beautiful photos.You had made a wonderful job and an most intersting albom. I was in viena for a 3 days weekend few days ago. I did't new that Viena will seurprise me so much as she did. I came with my wife and couple of friends armed with my camera as usual, But Viena (a place I was 50 time during sumer times ) Was to cold for me...So I saw here first 2 days, from Landsman , Zacher,central and many others famed cafe windows.....Only on the third day, I dar to draw my gloves and shot photos allmost frozen.... I love the "Secret Christmas Wish" -- not that far off from my secret wish. Thank you very much for the comments about my album of raptors. I am lucky enough to volunteer at a rescue center. The volunteers are willing to let me take pictures while they walk the birds. So I can get within 10 feet and go for a zoom shot to make the bird stand out. These birds have such absolutely expressive eyes. I was holding a Cooper's Hawk last week and he was watching me closely. A Cooper's Hawk is about 10 inches long with red eyes. I am lucky enough to combine my true hobbies -- photography and caring for birds. I look forward to seeing more of your photos. Liz/Ohio ewleach@aol.com
