Album Description:
The Asian Elephants in this album live at the St. Louis Zoo. Bob and I always enjoy the challenge of trying to catch some of their antics with our cameras. The Orchids are on exhibit at the Missouri Botanical Garden's yearly Orchid Show.

Bonjour Bob,i'm almost ashame to have not noticed this beautiful album before. What a perfect mix,i don't really know why but i love it,maybe it's the fragility of the orchids versus the strenght of the elephants;it just makes a fantastic album to browse,my favorites are #33,39and 59.Have a great week-end!Luc

Hello! Thanks to Henri and Kaethi, I had a chance to look at your beautiful album. The orchids are glorious and the elephants seem to be having a great time. My young son (now 36) and I visited the St Louis Zoo, a long time ago and loved it. The memories have faded with time, but I shall always remember a peacock strutting his stuff in the middle of the path. Strange what one remembers. It was raining that day, so could not stay long, but remember wishing we could have seen more. Thank you for sharing these photos. Sharon from SE Minnesota

Elephants and Orchids, not your ordinary combination! I must admit that I would never have thought of it, but IT WORKS! GREAT album - as are all of your albums! The orchids are beautiful. Great texture, light and shadow in the elephant photos. I truly enjoyed your new album. ENCORE! Sheryl

Great album! I love how you placed the photos with every other one an elephant! The one where Raja is coming out of the forest looks like you are in the wilds rather than the St. Louis Zoo. This is a wonderful arrangement, I see a featured album in this one. It is a winner for me! Could you let me know the best time to visit the Botanical Gardens, for the spring blooms? I would love to view it as your album, "Spring Is The Time" shows it, toooo be stunning. That is an awesome album. Our son lives in Farmington, Missouri, it would be nice to plan a trip to visit when we could catch the gardens in all their glory. Please give me a guesstiment as to the best time. I have viewed all of your albums of the gardens in all their seasons. Over and over and over. I have been told by some that St. Louis has the most beautiful Botanical Gardens in the USA. Your photos confirm this. Thank you for sharing the beauty with us. segseven, OKLAHOMA

Hi Sharon, This is a fantastic album. The strength of the elephants mixed with the fragility of the orchids is a unique composition. I was just thinking yesterday that I need to get up to the Botanical Gardens and take some photos. I don't want to miss the spring flowers. I'm trying to be patient, but it's hard this time of year when we keep getting teased with this unusually warm weather. Can you believe they are calling for snow this weekend?? I loved the photos of Raja. I guess all of us here in the St. Louis area have a special place in our hearts for him. Thank you for sharing such wonderful photos. Please stop by and visit my albums any time. Peace and Love. Donna/Missouri

Hi Bob and Sharon! What a great contrast!!! I love elephants and orchids so this is one of my favorite albums! Fabulous job capturing those elephant antics:-))) I'm so glad to see that they have a swimming hole and that Raja wanted to come see you! Did he get to go home with you? I would take him home!!! The orchids are breathtaking and just so incredibly beautiful! Well done on the entire album!!!! Thanks for letting us see! Hugs and love! Jane

Hello Sharon and Bob! What an amazing combination of two oposites: the giant elephants and the delicate orchids! Two kind of beauties, but so diffrent! We love elephants, these so intelligent and majestic animals! But we also love the orchids, on an other way: we always are astonished about the enormous number of species, one more beautiful than the other! You created an outstanding album! We appreciate getting the names of the orchids as well as the amusing comments for the playing elefants! Thanks for this great surprise! Love and hugs, Henri and Kaethi

Hi Sharon, What a nice album. Just looked at it briefly as I have to go out soon. Loved the elephants. Even made one into a puzzle! :--)) Beautiful orchids. Wouldn't mind having a few plants like them. Their flowers last such a long time. Good job as always. Both you & Bob sure know just how to do it. Of course the pictures you take has a wee bit to do with it too! Hugs, Flo
