  • I want to thank everyone who has written kind things about the images that I posted here. For the past year and a half, I have been ill, and so I apologize for not answering the questions asked sooner. For those who are curious about where I got these images, some I purchased from a local Catholic book and gift store called Vercillo's in Tacoma, Washington (USA). Others I copied from Catholic and Orthodox Church websites and made into desktop wallpapers. Others, I found at various Catholic image sites on the web and turned them into wallpapers. Some were already wallpapers at other sites but had been discontinued. Some are from other websites and remain on those sites as well. As for how I have some of the images aligned, I realize that the icons normally default to the left side of the screen, but they can be selected and moved over to the other side. :) I just thought it made a nice minor change to how things usually are on our desktops. lol God bless you all!

  • Hello, this is in response to the person who asked about copyrights. The image you are asking about is a very popular image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Many websites have a copy of this image, and I am not certain as to who the artist is. I keep these images here until someone complains that they are copyrighted, then I remove them. I found them all on the internet and am not aware of any copyrights, but you might be able to find out about the Sacred Heart image at http://www.immaculateheart.com/ where the image was originaly hosted until they removed it in favor of some updated images.   • Hi: Want to thank you for adding catholic images. I often download them monthly @ work,(only computer I have right now). I like to see the saints of the day, a lot of them, & they are hard to find. Sometimes I can't find anything on them. If you are blessed enough, & I will pray for you that you are able, it would be nice to go to someone w/webshots & download monthly saints. Catholic Online has the calender w/names for each day. They have background info on the saints if you click on it. They're @ www.catholic.org
