Hi Lynn! Thanks for the message and concern for our granddaughter. I've been keeping my eye on your album with Michelle and keep her and your family in my prayers. She is an inspiration to all young people. Your family is so beautiful/handsome and you are truly blessed. And that pup is a great addition to the family. As for Abby, our 12 year old granddaughter, they discovered a couple years ago that she had scoliosis and it was so bad that wearing a brace would not help, so they recommended surgery. They implanted two rods in her back on each side of her spine. She had the surgery on January 16. Bob and I were both going to drive to Louisville to stay with our 14 year old granddaughter while our daughter and son-in-law spent most of the time at the hospital. We had an ice storm the weekend before Abby's surgery and our power was out for 3 days. I drove to Louisville on the 15th of January by myself and Bob waited until the power came back on here at home. He was able to drive out the day of Abby's surgery. Anyway, Abby sure could use all the prayers right now just for the long recovery period. She has been in a lot of pain, but has been a real trooper through all this and doesn't complain much at all. She was immediately 2 inches taller after the surgery! :-)) And since Julie, our daughter, home-schools the girls, Abby will probably not miss as much school work as she would have in the public schools. It will be about 6 weeks before she really gets back to almost normal and maybe longer. I am still worn out from everything that has gone on this month, so I'm looking forward to February! LOL Thank you so much, Lynn! And we'll keep remembering your family in our prayers also. Hugs and love, Sharon

I so enjoyed visiting your album with all of your handsome/beautiful family and probably the cutest wee pups I have seen for awhile. The sparkle in Michelle's eyes is something to behold and the whole family looks so loving and happy. I hope and pray that Michelle beats this completely and is soon healthy and well again. Dear Lynn; Your POTD brought me to your album and I can see that I have been away too long. Love all of the new additions to this album and also the good news about Michelle. I am so very happy for her and also for all of you. How amazing that the cancer was spotted early enough. My Father passed on just this last August from lung and brain cancer. Amazingly, the dr.'s never suspected until the very end and he never had to suffer. I am so very happy for Michelle and the fact that it was diagnosed early and that she is on the road to recovery.
