  • It may be related to some kind of relenza in his past. What did the doctor say? Did he mention anything about that?

  • The soul hurts me on having known that your dear son has such a worrying disease. It is not fair, not, it is not... God will want that he recovers soon, my dear Jamie, I'm quite sure! Please, do not lose the hope... A great kiss for Andy and another one for you, my dear friend, with all my fondness. Joana

  • Hi Jamie!!! I know how it feels when a doctor uses the term 'disease'!!! It is frightening & terrifying! I was told that I have "Raynauds disease"...I was looking at my hand & seeing through the skin to the bones...then when I stuck it into warm water it turned black! I thought MY HAND IS DEAD!!! This 'disease' is really just a 'phenominon' caused by poor blood circulation, & genetics...not a disease at all! Your son will be good to go with the proper rest & treatment...he is a FINE YOUNG MAN judging by these smiling pic's of him!

  • Hi Jamie, You, as well as your son, are in my thoughts. I hope he has a full recovery. There are a lot of different methods of treatment out there, along with lots of ice! I saw this on a website devoted to the condition: Vitamin E has long been recommended as a topical wound healer, and it appears that certain forms have that effect when taken internally. More research is continuing on just why this is so remarkably effective in cases of Osgood-Schlatter. ~your friend, Kristi

  • I am sorry to hear of this inconvenience. However, it will heal by itself in time, maybe takes a year. It is an inflammation, not a disease at all, really. I saw this in the net, an answer by a doctor to a question. You had me real worried! All the best to you!
