This story gets alot of TV time here in the US. I have to listen to the reports in hopes that she will be returned safe. No one can give up hope until she is found. There have been some unbeleivable stories of kids found in this country in the last couple of years, that were missing for years. Myrna

Every time I see this I say a prayer that something positive will come out soon. It is somewhat similar to the Natalie Holloway case which you may have heard of also. It has been almost a year and a half for her and even the most sensible clues seem to be overlooked. But this is just a little innocent baby. I personally would never even leave my children with a baby sitter I did not know (which is why I could not enjoy Las Vegas) and never left my older one with that kind of responsibility until he was old enough to drive. I agree with Dave Mullany. You are doing a great service and I hope it helps but it does raise a lot of doubt.

It's so hard to believe that it has now been 125 days since Madeleine disappeared, Mike! There hasn't been a day that I haven't thought of Maddie or her plight. I never would have believed this would go on this long. No news is such a heartache for any who know anything of this case. Dear Mike; This is the first time I have seen this album. Proves I have not been visiting enough. Thank you Mike for posting this album to make all aware of little Madeline's eye. This is so heart-breaking and we all hope and pray that she will be found. This was all over our news and feature articles in magazines. I only found out about this today, as I havent seen the news lately, and there was no mention of it in the local paper. Johan from Holland left me a message this morning! Mike: art, history and photography aside, this might well be the most important album you've ever assembled. Here in South Africa, we get much more of a feed of UK-orientated news - Sky, BBC - (unlike the USA, which tends to stay largely local), so the missing Madeleine story is huge news here (in a country where hundreds of kids go missing every year). As we watch the story unfold here (latest snippet - J.K Rowling has punched large sums into the search), our hearts bleed for this child. There are, however, some questions we need to ask if we are to prevent this sort of thing happening again in the future (which, of course, we probably can't). (1) Who took her? (2) Why? (3) Was she, in fact, "taken" and not lying at the bottom of some well or other hole in the ground into which she indavertently wandered? (4) And to me - a father of one son and five daughters - (and forgive me if I've got the wrong end of the stick here), but how in the name of God can parents go off to a restaurant and leave a yet-to-be four-year-old child in charge of a pair of two-year olds? Even in the "secure" surrounds of some resort complex. That apart - this album shows you to be a man of honour and decency and, in my book, one of the best of all human beings, in that you care about the wellbeing of our planet's most precious resource - our children. I haven't the faintest idea what I can possibly do to help, but if there's anything - call me - Dave
