Hello Mike, I am glad to see this album, and I'm proud to see you trying to help! I think it is a horrible thing, that evil people perpetrate such crimes! I only found out about this today, as I havent seen the news lately, and there was no mention of it in the local paper. Johan from Holland left me a message this morning! I have no clue where things stand presently, so I'm going to go and visit a European news service, London Times perhaps, and read the latest news! I hope she is found safe! Take care my friend! Mike: art, history and photography aside, this might well be the most important album you've ever assembled. Here in South Africa, we get much more of a feed of UK-orientated news - Sky, BBC - (unlike the USA, which tends to stay largely local), so the missing Madeleine story is huge news here (in a country where hundreds of kids go missing every year). As we watch the story unfold here (latest snippet - J.K Rowling has punched large sums into the search), our hearts bleed for this child. There are, however, some questions we need to ask if we are to prevent this sort of thing happening again in the future (which, of course, we probably can't). (1) Who took her? (2) Why? (3) Was she, in fact, "taken" and not lying at the bottom of some well or other hole in the ground into which she indavertently wandered? (4) And to me - a father of one son and five daughters - (and forgive me if I've got the wrong end of the stick here), but how in the name of God can parents go off to a restaurant and leave a yet-to-be four-year-old child in charge of a pair of two-year olds? Even in the "secure" surrounds of some resort complex. That apart - this album shows you to be a man of honour and decency and, in my book, one of the best of all human beings, in that you care about the wellbeing of our planet's most precious resource - our children. I haven't the faintest idea what I can possibly do to help, but if there's anything - call me - Dave
