An update on Susannah. Last fall, she was invited to present the keynote speech at the International Conference of Women in Science in Alexandria, Egypt. In responding to the invitation, I asked them if they were also going to pay for her mother to accompany her. Their response was that the invitation was to the scientist only. Upon being informed that their invited guest was only 16, they agreed to pay for her mother's expenses as well. Susannah's speech was attended by the First Lady of Egypt and the U.S. Ambassador to Egypt and afterwards, they all had lunch. Still the country girl, she went out for a McDonald's burger after lunch. And, they got to tour Egypt for an additional three days before completing their adventure by traveling around the world in eight days.(Amsterdam, Cairo, Alexandria, Osaka, San Francisco) God surely blessed my wife and I with this young girl. I believe that she is destined to have an impact on our world, albeit in her own small way. And, to give everyone a laugh... she doesn't think she is pretty at all, "just kind of average". Thanks again to Grizz for putting up a fine album, and if it helps to motivate and inspire another young person in this world, then there is hope for us all. Warmest regards to all from Susannah's mom and dad.

Grizz, what a wonderful album this is...I viewed the story line through the slideshow...then I viewed and read the individual photos with the more detailed captions, and Grizz I am so delighted for this young lady indeed...She is charming, good looking, very talented, very dedicated to her cause, but most of all an INSPIRATION to ALL young people in our world....Like I always say..."There can be no end to our accomplishments in life...BUT there must be a beginning"...and what an example she is....And YOU my friend I COMMEND for using your talents in PHOTOGRAPHY to showcase her efforts...Well done my friend...Larry in Winnipeg.

Hi Grizz - I'm sorry I hadn't seen this earlier, but what a wonderful young lady Susannah Clary is. Thank you (and her parents) so much for sharing her with us. She proves not ALL of the young people of the world have lost their ability to DREAM! I agree with you about the fact that people 'walk' into our lives for a reason. Hopefully you'll keep us informed as to Susannah's projects as the years 'fly by'. ... Warm hugs, Judy

What a maravelous album, Grizz! You did an excellent job setting the photos in a "scrapbooking" style and covering oh so much territory of the many facets of a young woman's dreams as they unfold each step of the way. Nice work!

What a beautiful young lady! If she is an indication of how to take care of our world, maybe we will be able to leave more of this beautifl planet to our grandchildren. Yes, A young girl's dreams, dreams that will better our world. I, too, believe things always happen for a reason. It was fate that you would meet as you did! I realized my dream the day I wore the Nurse's black band for the first time, and I hope she realizes all of her dreams in the years to come. God Bless-a pat on the back to a young woman who knows what she has to do and is doing it!! Beautiful in every way-good job Grizz!! Bonnie-like to pass it on to her if it is possible. Take care, bjl

Grizz: We've never met, but you are a friend indeed. A FANTASTIC montage' of a fantastic woman, who is just getting started. Sixteen she is NOT. Suz IS the begining, of a new future for our children, grandchildren, and all that follow. Her insight, brilliance and hard work, now offer our biologists the ability to save even those fish that would have been destroyed while trying to protect the whole. Suz has accomplished something no biologist has ever even dreamed of. And they were/are, all VERY GOOD at what they do. 16.....I don't think so. Thanks Grizz!! (Rick & Nancy - North of Seattle)

Hi Grizz, As they say in Scotland: "You're some kid!!!" - and I apply this to you as well as the exceedingly talented young lady in question. What a lovely tribute and how thoughtful of you to put it online. Another Scottish saying: "More power to your elbow". (both you and Susannah). Great big bear hug from Sheina in Argentina.

I am obviously biased concerning this young woman, afterall, I am her gray-haired father. But, what you see is what you get.. a sweet, unpretentious young woman who is brilliant, loves life and has a passion for science. I might send Grizz some pictures of her dogs and cats.. the herd joins her in bed at night. Fantastic job Grizz!
