A short but touching album...it took me longer to visit this album than a 60 photo album, meaning, there is a lot more here in these few images than other long and boring albums...

Hi Marra, I must confess i did not think at all about All Souls Day and All Saints Day and I am glad you reminded me so I too can reflect on those who have passed away and were very dear to me. Still we can still see those we loved, as they stay very close to us. My parents are both smiling down at me, with an occasional frown.

Hi Marra, love this idea of the tribute album - and using candles is a perfect way to remember them by! Great symbolism.

My original reason for coming to your page was because you had changed your avatar! I like to see your face, as I went around Webshots and left comments in albums, where you had been before, so I was going to ask you to put your face back as your avatar. If you really prefer not to do this, please make a new album and put that picture of your face in there, so that I can download it and see it from time to time. Love and light from your friend, Kathryn

They are to teach us that there must be opposition in all things or, in other words, that everything has an opposite - good and evil, light and darkness, health and sickness and so forth. We must choose the good and shun the evil, that it may be our part in the eternal worlds, and so that we may be glorified and sanctified and know everlasting happiness and peace. Some spirits are so special that their trials only need be for a brief moment and your dear little daughter was one of them. She did not need to suffer the trials and hardships of this life, as she had advanced so far in the previous one, so she was spared them and passed on to the next stage of her existence. As we can only see what is here, have forgotten what we knew before and cannot see that which is to come, we view death as a loss, but it is the gateway to the next stage of our eternal progression, just as birth was, but because we receive something extra when a child in born, we view it as a blessing, but view death as a curse, because we lose someone. However, their parents rejoice when they are reunited with their child, so the perspective changes according to which side of the veil we are on. No person who is fit to live need fear to die - only the wicked and no righteous person, having passed beyond the veil would ever desire to return, because they are in a place free from toil and sorrow, pain and hardship. Dear Marra, I am very touched by this beautiful album in memory of your loved ones. I am younger than you, but lost my dear mother, who was all the family I had left in 1985 and I created my album "Flowers for Connie" in her memory. When you are feeling better, please take a look at it. I would like to preserve this album for you, Marra, so that, when you pass on (hopefully not for a long time yet!) your memory and that of your loved ones remains on this page, as an oasis of spiritual repose, but we would have to arrange how this is done. If you would like me to do this leave a message on my board.

Dear Marra, Only God could have guided me to this beautiful and tender album of yours on the very day of the year it was created for. I am so sorry to learn that your health has become worse and of all the trouble you have had with you hand. You have borne your trials with patience, my friend, and have remained cheerful and compassionate in the face of adversity and that says a great deal about your character. Now rest assured, dear Marra, that you parents, whom you loved so dearly and whom you still miss so much, are in the World of Spirits and that you will one day see them again, along with your dear little daughter, who was only allowed to pass through this world very briefly, as she was one of God's special children, so that she might be yours in the eternities to come. Your tears of sorrow will be turned to tears of joy, when you are reunited with your loved ones and she is there waiting for you. The journey into the hereafter is a one way journey, just like our entry into this world. In both cases there is no going back. If a veil of forgetfulness was not cast over our minds at birth, the trials and sorrows or our mortal life would be unbearable with the memory of the glorious realm in which our spirits dwelt before they came to this earth to assume tabernacles of flesh. Also we cannot see our loved ones once they have departed this life, but it may be permitted to them to see us from time to time. Eventually, at the end of time, when all souls will have come to this earth and reached maturity, we will be reunited with the bodies we have laid down in the dust, but they will be free from all imperfections and glorified beyond our wildest dreams. We cannot imagine what glories a loving Heavenly Father has prepared for those who love them, as they are beyond the human imagination to conceive. As you said yourself, all our pain and trials will one day come to an end.
