  • BONJOUR JACQUES! J'AI BEAUCOUP AIME CES PHOTOS PLEINES DE FRAICHEUR ET DE SPONTANEITE. AVEC VOUS, NOUS SOMMES TOUJOURS DANS LE DOMAINE DE LA BEAUTE...DISONS QU'ICI, ELLE SE TRADUIT DE FACON DIFFERENTE! MES COMPLIMENTS A CETTE JEUNE NAIADE QUI BRAVE COURAGEUSEUMENT LES DEFERLANTES DU PACIFIQUE AVEC SON COPAIN DAUPHIN ;) MAIS JE LA PREFERE SUR LA BALANCOIRE, SI MUTINE ET SI JOLIE...BIEN AMICALEMENT. SYLVIE

  • Thanks again, Jacques. Dolphins are wonderful creatures, and mostly nicely behaved! However, many years ago, on a trip to Sea World (north of Brisbane, Qld.) my daughter patted a wild dolphine that had obviously just been caught, and was in convalescense. It was in a holding pen, and had deep lacerations on its back, perhaps from shark attacks? Someone else had just been stroking its back, and Ann followed, only to be bitten by the creature! I think she put her hand too close to its blowhole, or something! It didn't break the skin, but she was left with quite deep indentations around her sore hand, and learnt a good lesson that day. (don't climb fences to pat anything in the water!!!) Her experience hasn't led to a fear of dolphins, luckily, and she still appreciates and loves them. funny how little stories are triggered by a set of photos, isn't it? Cheers. Margaret downunder.
