Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. It is always a sad day to lose a loved pet. I feel for you. I have three cats at present, but my tabby is getting on in years and when they have been part of the family for so long, they are dearly missed. Hi Corina, This was a very special cat and you must miss him very much. However, you know that he is dead, so you can think of him in a happier world. His departure was sudden and unexpected, but a cat's lifespan is only a fraction of a human's, so you would have had to face his loss at some point in the future. I hope that you will go to the animal shelter, when you have recovered to some extent and offer a loving home to two more animals, whose owners have abandoned or mistreated them. What about that poor cat next door? Does his owner really want her? If not, you could perhaps say that you wanted another cat and rescue her from an unhappy situation. Me too. I"m so sorry for you Corina. I know the filing. Our last dog was with us 17 years. He was a most handsome cocerspanial. My wife said when he pased away that he will be the last one, as here sorrow was absulutly incredoble. Today she is the street cats sterilizer and feeder , and all on our cost....She buy 50 kilo of dry good food and 10 can of meat a month for the cats......When we are not at home, our good neighbours do it for here. Some cats wait for here in the street, and know exactly here car motor noise. In the moment she park near our home, they come to here as she have food for them in here car too.....Very sad, He was so cut. What shel I say when you lost someone you love so much?
