Wonderful that these old photographs have survived the passing of time.They are treasures and heirlooms and are as they are in your possession ,they are safe and in very capable hands.The photo of your great grand mother is very compelling and I find myself going back for another look.And THEN another.Hugs.

Dear Ingrid - You might think I'm strange, but tears welled in my eyes when I first saw this album because I guess I can relate how treasured these photos are. They hold so many special memories for the family and can stir up so many emotions. As you know, I have uploaded many of my father's photos and I continue to do so and it is such a rewarding experience.
