Album Description:
Block Island, Rhode Island is accessible by ferry from Point Judith, Rhode Island. Many people bring bikes and make it a day trip. It's a wonderful place for a vacation! Watch the slideshow and take this beautiful trail with me...

Good job on one of my favorite places. Block is always beautiful, and your photos certainly show it well. Thanks also for your kind comments on my Eisenhower Farm album. Very much appreciated. About the inside the house pics you commented on - the National Park Service does allow photography in the house as long as no flash is used - thats why the pics of a few of the darker rooms have a slight orange cast to them. Try as I might I couldn't color and brighten them to a more true-to-life look in Photoshop. Always glad to hear from you - Mike

Hi Jade, this is a wonderful album. We vacationed several times on Block Island, staying on our sailboat in New Harbor on the east side. We did a fair share of hiking out there with our children when they were young teenagers and it was great fun. Thanks for the memories!
