I have ALWAYS wanted to visit NYC during Christmas and especially now when the entire world seems like such a scary place. Why? Not only because of the stunning beauty but the entire ambience of Christmas there - beginning with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Rockefeller Center - the skating rink; the beautiful angels gracing the entrance; the amazing tree; the fantasy and beauty found in the dept store windows....yes, I admit...I have never grown up - I still believe in the spirit of Christmas, goodwill toward all men, women and children and peace on earth and I still love the coziness, happiness and safety that we either had (or imagined we had) growing up in a much more innocent world than our children have today. I never tire of "It's a Wonderful Life" or "Miracle on 34th Street" and one of these days, I AM going to fulfill my dream of visiting this wonderful city during Christmas so I can experience first-hand all the beautiful decorations and festivities. Until then....I want to thank you SO much for sharing these truly breathtaking photos with us. I can visit and live the spirit of a NYC Christmas vicariously through your photo lens and your photos have touched my Christmas spirit and heart so much. I really enjoyed both of your "Christmas in New York" albums. I downloaded three of them. I have never been to NYC - guess I'm kind of stuck in the midwest - but your photos have encouraged me to visit sometime and especially over the holiday season.
