Merry Merry Christmas Sharon!!! This really puts me into the spirit of the season (now that it's almost over LOL) Wishing you a most wonderful holiday season! I do have to appologize, I have not been on the site at all the past 4 months and haven't responded to my messages(blush, blush). Since hurricane Ike hit us in September and created havock and destruction in so many areas around us, I've spent all my spare time volunteering. Despite the terrible storm, since - we've had the most beautiful Indian Summer (we never get fall colour normally) and even had SNOW last week (NO I didn't have too much spiked egg-nogg :D, it REALLY did snow enough to make a snowman)after 4 hrs so it was gone... Please pick up your xmas card below and take care and happy New Year too! Biggest and best hugs.Marita. Please click on the following link to see your card. Dear sharon. I was looking for new shots of you in the " 3 shots a week" but I didn't find. Is it a result of the bad whethere in your area? or your health? Anyhow, I'm leaving home in a couple of hours to the air port with some frightnes, as I have to change planes in Kenedy N Y , changing terminals and the cold you have there is frighting me......As I can't stand cold. So I took with me warm clothings I used many years ago for the few hours I will be there . I want to wish you my special friend happy new year to come and Merry Christme. AND MOST OF ALL - MUCH GOOD HEALTH For the new year. HUGS - RAN

Hi Sharon. Thanks for the invite to your Christmas 2008 album. Glad to see I'm not the only one out capturing the Christmas displays and goodies on sale. I enjoyed seeing what caught your eye. A very colourful and glittery album. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas and every happiness, good health and fun times for 2009. Keep warm too. Hugs, Jayne/England

It is not easy to get in the Christmas spirit while sitting in the middle of the desert, but your pictures sure helped. Thanks...Doug

Dear Sharon, you have assembled a remarkable collection of festive photos in this album. Christmas at your place looks so different from Christmas here, starting with the snow, through the decorations, trees and Santa. Speaking of Santa, he must be a doomed institution, the politically correct brigade will shortly have him locked away as a child molester. Have a wonderful Christmas my friend, and I hope you are healthier and happier in 2009, with warm summer hugs from Keith.

Sharon, again you are able to put an album of many wonders and memories together..I had a cat like yours his name was Rufus..the trees in Mall are almost as nice as yours in your home...Thank you for sharing the lovely cozy home view...I keep my chiladhood tradition, when parents sent me out to play..in the snow:)) and they in hurry fixed up the tree..and sent grandma out to door to shout for me....and when I got in all snowy and cold and purple...I heard the bell ringing...Mom came saying oh the Angel just signalled the Jesus came and got me the CHristmas tree with gifts ..We had firm belief that little Jesus brings the tree he flies in the window...but angels shake the glass silver or red bell to ANOUNCE his ARRIVAL:)) Never told this to nobody...Our real Christmas starts on Dec 24th...The warmth and Love in your home made me share with you my beautiful memories in terrible dark ages during and after WWII...On the tree we usually put candy..wrappped in colorful staniol paper..and we didnt have any those days...so mom cooked cornmeal thick and hard..and cut it up to size of the candy and wrapped each and tied sowing thread around to hang it up to tree..Candles were lit..the whole family and neighbours gathered aroud the tree singing and praying in honor of HIS birth...Thank you Sharon...Love you...wish you good health as you got everything else.. Hugs... Marra
