Youth. I remember the sweet embrace of my youth. The days were care free and full of new found wonders. I went to sleep one night and when I awoke it was 40 years later.

.Mike;- So this is how life goes...We all slip the surly bonds of time and find ourselves as someone we may have a hard time recognizing from time to time.. I somehow think that life through the eyes of the "FISHER" can some time see the pebbles a little more clearly than others. Hours spent with nothing but thoughts and the gentle lapping of water aqainst the waders or the boat can let the soul find some things in our life deeper and with more meaning than the scambled ramblings of day to day life.. As we age I believe that we pass back in time more often, to the places and people who have meant the most to us. For me,looking back is often the force that brings a smile to my face and a warm feeling to my heart. "To look in the mirror in total surprise, at the hair on my shoulders and the age in my eyes"...LIFE IS GOOD... As I sit here in Surprise Arizona, having just come back from a day on lower Oak Creek in Sedona casting a #16 bushy Adams to the wondrous little trout in one of the most beautiful places on this earth, you crossed my mind. We are heading up the Colordo to Parker tomorrow and I'll be able to try for a striper or two on a big streamer before heading on to Mesquite nevada to see if I can find, "little Finland" for my camera to play with and on to St. George Utah to play the new "Sand Hollow Resort" golf course, add a few dollars to the American Economy at the Black Jack tables and then back west to Death Valley to revisit the Dunes at Stovepipe Wells. Then we shall head back to British Columbia just in time for the lower lakes to be offering the first rainbows of the year. Again I say, Life is Good. Stay safe, and here's hoping for a song in your heart and a big bully brown on the end of your tippet.. Warm Regards, Chuck Collet, Pitt Meadows, BC

Hi Mike, so interesting to look through the shoebox of your life, you were a handsome young man who has aged well with the passing years. So you fell asleep one night and woke 40 years later - the intervening years were all a dream Mike, just a dream. I agree it's a shame WS doesn't have an internal email where members can chat, such as at Flikr. Cheers, Keith.
