  • Yikes, precious Knut was raised by humans but still has the innate ability to hunt and kill. Very impressive. He's always been an exceptionally smart young polar bear and this most recent feat is a perfect example.

  • Wow! What an exciting day for Knuti! I must admit that I felt sad for the moorhen, but relize that Knuti IS a predator. He must have felt so proud of himself! I guess he had to work through all those bones and feathers to truly enjoy his catch; I don't imagine the bones were a problem, but what about the feathers? It did look like a pretty "feathery" bird. Did he consume those also? Or did he leave a little pile of feathers at the consumption sight? And those photos with the poor little green legs sticking out of Knuti's mouth - what a sight!! Thanks for the exciting day with Knuti, Christina!
