Eli really wanted to get into the ball turret but they wouldn't open it up for us. That's probably best as I don't think I could get Eli out of it. He is about the right size to fit in there. I never realized how small it really is inside those planes. It's not a job for a 6'3" 240 pounder like me, I couldn't get my shoulders inside the top turret. No wonder you see so many skinny kids in the WWII pics.
