Inside of PUP: Bunk Bed. Simple Mod for extra counter-top space...we purchased a REALLY LARGE piece of Formica counter-top that matched our table and cabinet tops to lay on top of the bunk mattress. We keep the counter-top piece stored (when not needing it when we have kids/friends using bed) under that bunk bed. When Don and I are just going alone..then the counter-top remains on top of the bunk bed at all times to use for various purposes during our camp-out.
