Esquilino: An interesting area due to the actual immigrant concentration that has turned this area into some sort of melting pot with ethnic restaurants, groceries, typical shops, especially with Asians, African and Indians, yet the contrast between Italian and foreign is totally hilarious since the few Romans remaining in the area are such funny characters that stand out in this colourful mass. Originally this was one of the seven hills of Rome and a religious area due to the many churches and major basilicas. It is south of Termini train station and one of Rome's noisiest and strangest areas.
