I was on the Lansdale ferry heading off on a motorcycle trip with some friends along the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. As I was standing on the deck enjoying the beauty of the day, a fellow standing beside me remarked on never seeing so much water in his life. Turns out he is from New Mexico. Well we chatted for a bit and he was telling me that he and his wife where on a working vacation with their daughter who was doing some work with salmon for the Canadian Fisheries. I must say it was over my head. (The most I know about salmon is with a wild rice stuffing and slow cooked over hickory embers and with a baked potato). Well we wished each other a safe trip and went on our way. Now I believe people enter your life for a reason, and three times is an omen...The first meeting was on the upper deck of the ferry. The second meeting was on the lower deck as we where getting ready to unload, It was here I met Jim, and this time his wife Mary and their daughter Susannah. The third meeting was 4 days and two ferry's later and about an hours walk into the woods along the trail into the Skookumchuck Narrows, where this picture was taken...We exchanged email address and have kept in contact ever since...WELL NOW THIS ALBUM IS THE REST OF THE STORY...........
