Jennifer and I roasting mashmellows...always a must on camp-outs. Diana is asleep in the PUP. We stayed in a great KOA CG right outside the NP. I sure wish I could remember the name of it. By now both girls were older so this trip was the 1st full week camping trip for Diana. She did great as usual and was no problem at all. She loved to play outside with her 'big sister', Jennifer with either Don or I watching (of course). With two small children camping..it is very important to take turns doing chores and playing with the kids. When I cooked/cleaned, Don played with the kids or took them on 'hikes'. While he built the fire, I watched and taught them about being careful around the fire. It all worked well for us and we never had any problems or accidents on our trips. Thank goodness!
