This was after a disasterous boat trip to see some coral reefs. The damn tourist company charted an hour trip out to this far off island. The boat they chartered for us used to be fishing boats, not very big, that were converted to tourist boats. Hence, the boat rocked and swayed majorly as we travelled to the island. Three people puked on the boat. Not only that, the people running the boat ran out of plastic bags a long time ago, so the people who puked did it either on the side of the boat or on the floor of the boat. Tran and I were find during the trip there. Once we got to the island, they did not let us off onto the island to rest, even though the land was only a dozen yards off. Oh no, we had to wait on the F*cking boat for twenty minutes for a glass bottom boat to dock next to us. As it turns out, the glass bottom boats could hold only half of us. The other half had to wait another 30 minutes. After the first 10 minutes waiting on the boat, even I felt nauseous. Tran puked over the side of the boat a few minutes later. As did five or six other people. As it turned out, a few people on the first glass boat trip had puked right onto the glass bottoms. By the time everyone got to this island, which was a 20 minute trip after the coral reef disaster, everyone was tired. Few people swam in the warm waters here. Because if this incident, I vowed never to return to this tour company. As I expect many other people did too.
