This firehouse was built and opened for business in 1943. Though it served other surrounding neitghborhoods, the city installed it largely on account of the Pine Gardens Neighborhood.

My parents took me to this fire station in 1952? We watched the retuns of the voting that elected Eisenhower? The first TV I saw and very exciting. It's difficult to make yourself understood when trying to tell young people how amazing things were day to day "way back when". Grayson graysonlassor@cs.com
