Album Info:

This was the full set of hardware used to make the 'tangent screw': one 1/4" x 6" 20 tpi bolt, one washer for the bolt, a toy 'spanner' that I found in my stash, two 1/4" nuts, and one 1/4" (brass) acorn nut, and . The acorn nut didn't have to be brass, but I had picked it up randomly at Home Depot some time ago. The bolt, nuts, and washer came from Ace Depot. Taken together, these probably cost under ~$5. Instead of the toy spanner one could always use something equivalent like a balsa spoon (the kinds used to eat ice-cream) or a flat piece of strong material (like a tiny wooden or plastic ruler) etc.
